Our Values/British Values

British Values Map

As a specialist college CANTO seeks to reinforce British Values throughout its curriculum.  Although these values are under the heading British Values we believe that they are strong values shared by democratic societies around the world.

These values are:

Democracy, The Rule of Law, Respect and Tolerance and Individual Liberty.

These values are key to what it is to be a citizen in the modern, diverse, democratic world.  Through our efforts to empower our students with this knowledge we hope that they can contribute to creating a society, where individuals feel safe, valued and can contribute for the good of themselves and others.
